Kim Jangmi and Nicco Campriani are the 2012 ISSF shooters of the year

Korea's Kim Jangmi and Italy's Niccolo "Nicco" Campriani won the 2012 ISSF Shooter of the Year title.
They were voted as the two best shooters of the year by a panel including the members of the Athletes Committee, of the Coaches Advisory Board and by the international sport press.

New ISSF 2013-2016 rules
Submitted by Dubinin on Sat, 01/05/2013 - 14:42After more than two years of work by ISSF bodies, the ISSF Administrative Council unanimously approved the new ISSF rules on 13 November 2012, that open a new chapter for the Shooting Sport Olympic events.
The new rules feature many important changes designed to increase Shooting’s appeal to youth and make it more spectator and media friendly, as well as to keep competitions fair and equal.
AIDA verifies new World Records
Submitted by Dubinin on Mon, 12/31/2012 - 13:26Association Internationale Pour Le Developpement De L’apnee announced that the results of the required doping tests are in from the independent testing agency. The World Records for Ilaria Bonin (Italy) dynamic no-fins 163m, Ashley Futral-Chapman (USA) constant weight no-fins 67m, and Alexey Molchanov (Russia) constant weight 126m , are all now verified with clean test results.
Climbing Federation of Russia 2013 event calendar

The season starts on January 4th and ends on December 23rd. Lead and speed Russian national championships will take place from March 26th to March 30th in Perm. Bouldering Russian nationa championshops is scheduled from June 11th to June 13th in Kazan.
XVIII Men's World Combat Sambo Championships
Submitted by Dubinin on Thu, 12/27/2012 - 18:06XVIII Men's World Combat Sambo Championships took place in Moscow on December 22nd. The event consisted of 7 weight categories and gathered 52 athletes from 13 countries. Russian team won the championships in total point count.
Vladimir Fedorov made a record dive
Submitted by Dubinin on Sat, 12/22/2012 - 13:58Vladimir Fedorov set a new record in dynamic apnea in extreme conditions, breaking the distance of 100 metres. He made his way from one underground lake to another when the water temperature was +5°C and the air temperature was −20°C.
Presentation of climbing to IOC members

Climbing is included in short lists of sports that can be included in Olympics schedule. Climbing Federation of Russia representative Evgeniya Malamid will take part in the presentation.
